Children's Ministry

KidStreet is our Sunday morning service for children in grades K-5. Our goal in KidStreet is to present the Gospel and to help our children to grow in the faith using kid-friendly tools such as:

Stories - Skits - Puppets - Videos - Games

These tools help us teach spiritually significant lessons with an emphasis on how to live for Christ in our daily lives. Lessons are designed to be interesting to all age-levels. Worship, prayer, and ministry led by the children themselves are stressed.

Here in Promiseland, we strive to minister to God's youngest children by giving them the tender loving care they desire and need. Each week, a lead teacher studies and prepares to teach our little ones, age 0-2, in a developmentally appropriate way. We are staffed with female volunteers from the church body who have shown themselves to be of Godly character with a heart to serve our precious gifts from the Lord. All of our nursery workers have been screened and trained to insure a happy, safe environment. Video surveillance is also provided in the classrooms for security purposes.

The preschool ages are a time when children learn who Jesus is and begin to experience His love. These years are crucial in guiding kids toward making a life-long commitment to follow Christ. It is at this age that children begin to understand that Jesus is real and that He loves them personally.

The leaders and assistants in the Covenant Kids' Ministry are keenly aware of the importance of reaching kids with the Gospel at an early age. They also understand that preschool children learn best when the environment and activities are geared to their age-level.

Jesus said to "Go into the world and make disciples of all nations...." We consider that our top priority, and the Sunday morning Discipleship Classes are designed to help grow lifelong disciples of Christ. Jesus taught His own disciples in a small-group setting which allowed time for conversation, questions, and discussion of hard issues. We want kids to come to know God in an intimate way, learn to imitate Christ by exhibiting Christ-like character traits in daily life, be devoted to a life of Service, and develop a deeper understanding of the foundations of our faith: water baptism, baptism in the Holy Spirit, Communion, healing, etc.

Bible Blast ® is a tool for families to talk, walk, lie down, get up, tie, wear, and write the Word of God on our hearts. It is designed for families with children from Kindergarten to 5th grade.If a family devotional is something you are needing, Bible Blast is just for you. The program is designed to teach your children God's word DAILY. It covers the Bible from the story of creation all the way to Paul's declaration,"I fought the good fight, I finished my course." You are urged as the head coach to read to your children despite their age, transferring your faith to your children. Our Rainbows for boys & girls PreK 3 & 4 is part of the Missionettes program on Wed nights.

Girls’ Ministries Clubs are exciting discipleship clubs for girls. Each age-group has its’ own club: Daisies for kindergarten age; Prims for 1st and 2nd grades; and Stars for 3rd through 5th grades. These clubs teach your girls things you want them to know– things like Godly character, life skills and Bible knowledge. Plus, girls have a one-of-a kind opportunity to be mentored by mature women in the faith.

Boys-in-Training is a one-of-a-kind discipleship club for boys in grades K-6. Boys meet together with Godly men who mentor them in their walk with Christ while leading them in wholesome experiences that boys love.
