PRESENCE
Everything
As we head into the new year, we’re focusing on something simple yet profound: Presence Over Everything. At its core, this is about prioritizing God’s presence above anything else in our lives and our church.
What Do We Mean by Presence Over Everything?
Presence Over Everything means making God’s presence the top priority in every area of our lives. It’s about recognizing that nothing else—our relationships, plans, agendas, achievements, or influence—matters if His presence isn’t leading the way. Without Him, even the best efforts fall short. But when we prioritize being with God and living in step with Him, Everything else finds its proper place. His presence brings rest when we’re weary, guidance when we’re uncertain, and distinction that sets us apart as His people. It’s a call to put Him first and let Everything else flow from there.
Start the year with Prayer
-
Night of Prayer
We’re kicking off the year with our First Wednesday Night Service, and it’s going to be powerful. This year, our theme is Presence Over Everything, so what better way to start than with a night of prayer?
Let’s come together, seek God’s presence, and set the tone for 2025. It’s going to be a time to realign our hearts, hear from Him, and pray with one voice for what’s ahead.
-
Week of Prayer
The Assemblies of God designates the first full week of each year as a Week of Prayer—a time to align our hearts with God’s purpose.
This year, our theme is “Kingdom Builders” as we unite to pray for Global Missions and the growth of the Church. Together, we will seek God’s hand in advancing His kingdom, empowering missionaries, and seeing lives transformed both locally and around the world.

21 Day of Prayer and Fasting
The emphasis of “January is Prayer” ties directly to your theme, “Presence Over Everything,” by dedicating the start of the year to seeking God’s presence intentionally through prayer. It sets the tone for the year, prioritizing a deep connection with God as the foundation for everything else. By focusing on prayer, the church collectively aligns itself to the importance of pursuing His presence above all else in every aspect of life and ministry.
